DescriptionBrief DescriptionDescriptionPalletizers are responsible for palletizing packaged products and operating forklifts. Products arrive at a stacking station via a conveyor. Pallets are position in a stacker by hand. The palletizers typically move the products from the conveyor onto the pallets in groups of 2-4 packages.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesContinuous flow of product to the stacker providing all products positioned properly for stacking. This includes product orientation and quantity.Wrapped product removed from the conveyors in a timely manner to avoid palletizer shutdown;Responsible for completing and submitting/attaching paperwork, such as, but not limited to maintenance request forms, skid tally sheets, on-hold tags, and skid load flagsSupplies (tie sheets, stretch wrap, pallets) unloaded and fed to the palletizers as requiredHave knowledge of all boxes and pallets for each product.Insure the use of the correct boxes for each product and label and stack full boxes onto palletKnowledge of pallet configurations and countsKnowledge of all Sell By's and code Dates for all productsKnowledge of Tape Machines, their functions and Lot NumbersInsure boxes are taped properly and have correct labels and Code DatesKnow Metal Detector Policy and proper handling or rejected productInform team leader of any equipment problemsSupply boxes to packersInsure dates on label and boxes match and change labels for label printerOther jobs as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesHave knowledge of Sanitation ProceduresKnow and understand Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety GuidelinesRequired Education And ExperiencePrevious manufacturing experience, preferred.Ability to use simple writing, adding and subtracting and some mechanical ability needed.Able to life at least 20-40 lbsApplicants must maintain good attendance and safety records.SummaryWhat makes Sabert a great place to work:Pay, Benefits And More.Sabert is eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.
