Pharmaceutical Maintenance Technician

If you enjoy troubleshooting, working independently, and being the go-to person for keeping operations up and running, this role offers stability, technical growth, and meaningful impact every day.Pay: $35-$37Schedule: M-F 4pm-12:30amType of Job: 1 year contract w/ possibility to extendLocation: Athens, GAAt this time, Astrix cannot transfer nor sponsor a work Visa for this position.Relocation assistance is not available for this position.Benefits OfferedMedical/dental coverage!Weekly pay!401k and PTO after 6 months!Pharmaceutical Maintenance Tech -2nd shift Daily Tasks: What you will do:Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical facility and utility systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability Support clean utilities, cleanroom HVAC, power plant systems, and high purity water (HPW) systems Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and execute repairs with minimal supervision Maintain and monitor systems including boilers, chillers, compressed air, and water systems Follow established maintenance practices to ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency Adhere to all safety (EHS) and regulatory (GMP) requirements Document maintenance activities and communicate system status clearly with team members Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and performancePharmaceutical Maintenance Tech -2nd Shift Qualifications/RequirementsHigh School Diploma with 2+ years of manufacturing experience (Pharma preferred)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of EHS and GMP environments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Solid verbal and written communication skillsWe strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
