Job Title: Water Wastewater EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Water Wastewater Engineer with 6-12 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of wastewater treatment facilities. This role involves developing engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates while managing budgets, schedules, and quality standards. The position requires collaboration with clients and project teams, providing construction-phase support, and supervising technical staff to deliver high-quality projects. A California Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or the ability to obtain it within six months.Responsibilities+ Develop engineering designs, prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for various wastewater projects.+ Manage project budgets, schedules, contractual obligations, and adhere to quality standards.+ Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables, and conduct data entry and analysis.+ Supervise and coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others on specific assignments.+ Communicate effectively with clients and project teams to ensure project success.Essential Skills+ Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.+ 6-12 years of experience in water project planning, design, and construction.+ Proven experience in the planning, design, and construction of wastewater treatment facilities.+ California PE license or ability to obtain within six months.+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.+ Ability to apply engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.+ Capacity to deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Experience in civil engineering, water & wastewater systems, and design estimating.+ Proficiency in budget management, scheduling, and data entry.Work EnvironmentThe work environment offers a supportive and collaborative atmosphere with opportunities for career advancement.
