Software Development Engineer – IoT Management SystemsAbout SolutionMallSolutionMall is a global B2B products and solutions platform supporting projects in IoT, digital infrastructure, smart buildings, smart cities, energy, industry, agriculture, security, healthcare, and education.We support customers throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution matching, software development, product selection, supplier coordination, system integration, delivery, and technical support.About the OpportunityWe are looking for Software Development Engineers to support the development, integration, and optimization of IoT management platforms, SaaS/PaaS systems, remote monitoring applications, device connectivity solutions, and data visualization systems.This is a remote, part-time, and project-based collaboration opportunity. It is not a fixed full-time position.Engineers will be selected from our professional network based on the technical requirements of each project. Before a project begins, the scope, responsibilities, deliverables, timeline, and compensation will be confirmed.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain IoT management platforms, web applications, and SaaS/PaaS systems.Build backend services, frontend modules, APIs, and microservices.Integrate sensors, gateways, controllers, smart meters, and other field devices.Develop functions for device management, data collection, remote monitoring, alarms, reports, dashboards, users, and permissions.Support requirements analysis, interface confirmation, testing, deployment, and system optimization.Improve system stability, security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.Collaborate with customers, suppliers, product teams, and international technical partners.Support IoT projects in smart buildings, energy, industry, agriculture, security, environmental monitoring, and digital infrastructure.RequirementsAt least 3 years of experience in software development.Experience in backend, frontend, or full-stack development.Experience with IoT platforms, SaaS/PaaS systems, APIs, microservices, databases, cloud applications, or remote monitoring systems.Experience with one or more of the following technologies:Java, Python, Node.js, Go, PHP, or similar backend technologiesReact, Vue, Angular, or similar frontend frameworksRESTful APIs, WebSocket, MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP, or related communication protocolsMySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar databasesDocker, Kubernetes, cloud deployment, containers, or distributed systemsGood understanding of user authentication, authorization, access control, and data security.Strong problem-solving, technical communication, and requirements analysis skills.Ability to work remotely and collaborate with international teams.Good English communication skills are preferred.Preferred QualificationsExperience with IoT device management platforms.Experience integrating gateways, sensors, meters, controllers, or edge devices.Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, organization management, user roles, and permissions.Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud deployment, and production system maintenance.Experience in smart buildings, industrial IoT, energy, agriculture, security, or environmental monitoring.Experience developing B2B software products or supporting international projects.Collaboration ModelThis role is based on remote, part-time, and project-based collaboration.SolutionMall will match suitable engineers with projects according to actual development requirements.
