Job Description Manual Machinist – Bridgeport Mill & Engine LathePay: $20–$23 per hour depending on experienceThis position is for experienced machinists who have hands-on experience operating manual milling machines and engine lathes in a machine shop environment.Applicants with only CNC machining experience or classroom training will not be considered.Requirements• Experience operating manual milling machines such as Bridgeport mills• Experience operating manual engine lathes• Ability to read blueprints and machining drawings• Experience measuring parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers• Reliable transportation to workResponsibilities• Set up and operate manual milling machines and engine lathes• Machine metal components according to blueprints and specifications• Measure parts to ensure proper tolerances and quality standards• Select cutting tools and machining methods for production tasks• Maintain safe operation of machining equipmentWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a machine shop environment working with manual machining equipment, cutting tools, and precision measuring instruments.Preferred Experience• Experience machining steel or metal components• Experience performing manual machining setups• Experience maintaining machining tolerances and part accuracyImportant NoteWe partner with multiple companies across the Tulsa area.
