Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Yard Hostler located in Miami, FL. The Yard Hostler will be responsible for safely moving trailers within the yard, ensuring timely and accurate placement of trailers for loading or unloading. Additional duties include conducting routine inspections of trailers and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized yard, adhering to all safety protocols, and collaborating with warehouse and transportation teams to support efficient operations. Qualifications Experience operating yard trucks or similar equipment.Proficiency in vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with warehouse and operations staff.Ability to follow schedules and navigate yard layouts efficiently for optimal workflow.Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment as needed.Strong attention to detail to ensure safe and accurate handling of trailers and documentation.Familiarity with workplace safety practices and guidelines; OSHA certification is a plus.
