Accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), the Henry Ford Health Breast program takes a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to delivering world-renowned care. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The APP will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families. Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care. Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently. Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Seeking experience in Breast surgery, oncology, or other surgical specialties. Master's degree in nursing OR Bachelor's Degree or Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Current State license as a Registered Nurse OR Requires Michigan state licensure and continued certification by the National. Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Current BLS.
