Pay Range: $55.16 - $89.78 per hour Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. Summary: Reporting to the AVP, Financial Planning & Decision Support, the Manager of Financial Planning will have responsibility managing development of the organization's long-term financial plan, the annual capital budget, and interim capital reporting. Required Job Qualifications:Five years in financial analysis and/or financial planning within a large healthcare system or similar environment.Bachelor's degree with equivalent job experience will be considered.Good working knowledge of relationships within financial statements and underlying transactions.Strong analytical problem-solving skills.Possesses a high level of attention to detail.Excellent verbal/written communication skills; ability to interface with all levels throughout the organization.Highly motivated with good organizational skills.Able to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines; works well under pressure.Proficient in MS Office Products with advanced knowledge of Excel and Access; ability to work with and be proficient in stand-alone system applications. Preferred Job Qualifications:Master's degree. Responsibilities:Manages the development of the organization's annual long-term financial plan, including development of models to project net income, cash flow, balance sheets and financial ratios. Works with Divisional management in developing key operating assumptions and incorporates such into the financial models.Works with Budget office staff to reconcile interim financial projections with long-term financial plan, and assists in developing annual budget targets.Working with Facilities Management and Operations, develops and maintains long-term capital investment plan and incorporates into long-term plan.Coordinates and manages the annual capital budget process.Monitors actual capital spend against approved budget.Routinely reconciles amount spent to cash disbursements reported by General Accounting.Works with AVP to establish process for reporting actual to budget expenditures and approving/communicating other capital budget revisions.Responsible for maintaining systems and applications needed to support development of the long-term financial plan and capital budget/reporting process.Provides recommendations for enhancing the systems and processes.Calculates ROI for investment in new capital projects, as needed.Participates on and provides assistance to various committees of the Medical Center and Finance.Provides management and leadership to staff necessary to achieve goals.Performs other related duties as assigned.
