Pediatrics Physician
Vanderbilt Integrated Pediatrics is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join our established outpatient practice in Tullahoma, Tennessee. This role focuses on delivering high quality, patient and family centered pediatric care in a close knit community while being supported by the resources of Monroe Carell Jr. Children s Hospital at Vanderbilt, a nationally ranked children s hospital. Practice HighlightsOutpatient, community based pediatric primary careTeam based practice with physicians and advanced practice providersSupport of Vanderbilt Health s integrated academic health systemNo hospital rounding responsibilitiesParticipate in light call coverage with nurse triage support Position ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients from birth through adolescenceDiagnose and treat acute and chronic childhood illnesses and injuriesDeliver preventive care, including well child visits and immunizationsCounsel patients and families on growth, development, nutrition, safety, and disease preventionCoordinate care with pediatric subspecialists within Vanderbilt Children s when neededMaintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health recordSupervision of mid-level provider (with an additional stipend) Schedule & WorkloadFour clinical days per weekDedicated administrative time built into the scheduleNo routine weekend clinicAverage daily patient volume: patients QualificationsBoard Eligible or Board Certified in PediatricsEligible for Tennessee medical licensureInterest in outpatient pediatric careStrong communication and interpersonal skillsNew graduates welcomeVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.
