CNC Machinist/Programmer (2nd & 3rd shifts)

CNC Machinist/Programmer We are seeking an advanced CNC Machinist with strong programming skills. Key Responsibilities Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with blueprints Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications Select tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise Experience Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required Must have strong attention to detail Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential Should have a positive and professional attitude Requirements High school diploma or GED certificate Completion of a technical or associate degree program a plus Knowledge of G and M Codes Experience programming CNC mills and lathes Familiarity with Solidworks a plus Solid math skills Strong computer and office software skills “We're an equal opportunity employer.
