Their collaborative approach and dedication to client satisfaction have established them as a reliable partner in the industry.Role:As a Project Manager you will provide overall administrative and technical direction for electrical projects. You will provide technical and engineering support as required by the projects. Our Project Managers play a key role in having overall bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss and consequently carry the authority appropriately.Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of construction and design to ensure compliance with NEC, budget, and scheduleServe as the primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders (GCs, subcontractors, superintendents, union reps)Approve staffing decisions including superintendent and foremen assignments, wages, and volumeDirect planning, scheduling, engineering, and estimating effortsReview and approve purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and bid proposalsEnsure safety compliance and implementation of OSHA standardsMaintain accurate project documentation and logsUphold company and client policies, procedures, and standardsSupport customer relations, sales efforts, and labor agreement adherencePerform additional duties as assigned by leadershipAdaptable and responsive to evolving business needsSelf-driven with strong problem-solving abilitiesGrowth mindset with a commitment to continuous learningThis can also be a travel position with per diemQualifications:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field35 years of project management experience with a solid understanding of the project life cycleExperience working with electrical construction contractors preferredProficient in construction software (e.g., Procore, Accubid, Revit, CAD, BIM tools) and estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and contractingStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, electrical systems, codes, and safety standards (OSHA)Ability to read and interpret contracts, plans, blueprints, and specificationsExcellent communication, organization, and decision-making skillsStrong financial, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesTeam-oriented with effective collaboration and coaching skillsFamiliarity with collective bargaining agreements and continuous improvement practicesWillingness to travel to project sites as neededWhy People Choose Vision Electric & SystemsAt Vision Electric & Systems, we bring energy, expertise, and innovation to every project we touch.
