If you enjoy taking ideas from concept to working prototype in short, iterative cycles, and you like solving challenging problems across the stack, this role will give you the opportunity to have an outsized impact on how our organization operates. You’ll work as a hands-on engineer on a close-knit team, helping to design and build modern, scalable applications with polished, intuitive user interfaces.Design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex, full-stack software systems based on documented requirementsImplement features end-to-end, from UI through backend services and data storesApply modern software engineering practices (version control, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD) to deliver reliable and maintainable solutionsBuild and execute simulations and test harnesses in development and test environmentsEnsure UI designs adhere to established UX/UI principles, style guides, and accessibility standardsLeverage UI libraries, frameworks, and reusable components to accelerate development and maintain consistencyTest UI across the organization’s approved browsers and platforms to ensure a seamless user experienceDebug and troubleshoot UI and full-stack issues, performing root-cause analysis and driving fixesContinuously improve the user experience by identifying UX/UI enhancements and performance optimizationsStay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in front-end, full-stack, and UI developmentParticipate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality and shared standardsCollaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to refine requirements and deliver incremental valueClearanceA current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.ExperienceTwenty (20) years’ of relevant experience in software engineering, modernization, or solution architecture. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.Required SkillsDeep understanding of AI/ML capabilities within client environment. Strong software development skills with Java, Python, Object Oriented Programming concepts and patterns. Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment. Experience in the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) that includes Requirements Analysis, Design, Coding,Testing, Implementation, Maintenance with the Agile MethodologyDesired SkillsGood understanding of software project management tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, Confluence) Previous experience in developing and deploying ML/AI models in real-world applications. Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop. Knowledge of data science workflows, ETL, and data lakes. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
