Social Media Manager — Von Shan ProductionsVon Shan Productions is looking for a part-time Social Media Manager to support the growth of Adam Bernard’s creative projects, including his graphic novel V:2039, model kit content, animation work, and related video/photo content across social platforms.This role is a great fit for someone who is organized, proactive, local to Los Angeles, and genuinely interested in topics like tanks, WWII history, model kit building and collecting, comic books, sci-fi, and worldbuilding.ResponsibilitiesSupport social content publishing across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.Write and refine social captions, post copy, hooks, hashtags, and basic video descriptions.Schedule and publish short-form video content, carousel posts, promotional updates, and behind-the-scenes content.Help maintain a consistent posting calendar across platforms.Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement.Respond to or flag comments/messages as appropriate.Moderate spam, inappropriate comments, and low-quality engagement.Track basic performance metrics and help identify what content is resonating.Support promotional pushes for V:2039, product drops, comic book updates, model kit content, livestreams, and behind-the-scenes material.Coordinate with the video editor and creative team to make sure final assets are posted correctly and on schedule.RequirementsStrong social media publishing and copywriting experience.Comfortable managing content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.Excellent attention to detail.Clear, reliable communication.Ability to match the voice of a creator-led brand.Must be local to Los Angeles.Genuine interest in tanks, WWII, model kit building/collecting, and comic books.Nice to HaveExperience with paid social / media buying.Experience boosting posts or running ads on Meta, TikTok, or YouTube.Basic Canva, thumbnail, or design skills.Experience managing creator, entertainment, fandom, comic book, hobby, or collectible-focused social accounts.DetailsLocation: Los Angeles local preferred / requiredHours: 5–10 hours per weekRate: $65/hourType: Part-time / freelanceTo ApplyPlease send:Your resume or a brief overview of your experience.Examples of social accounts you’ve managed or supported.A short note about your interest in tanks, WWII, model kits, collecting, and/or comic books.Any relevant paid social or media buying experience.
