Construction Project Manager (Houston)

Position Summary: Responsible for planning, directing, and executing capital construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Manages contractors, oversees project scope, and maintains quality, safety, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets Review contract scope and assess impact of changes, directives, and client requirements Drive change orders, including cost estimation, proposal preparation, and negotiations Monitor and communicate project progress, risks, and financial status to stakeholders Lead project meetings and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors Oversee construction management, quality control, and safety compliance Ensure designs and specifications meet required codes and standards Manage subcontractors and maintain project documentation and reporting Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred) 5+ years of construction/project management experience (new construction, renovations, MEP, critical environments) 5+ years of management experience 3+ years in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain within 120 days)
