The role requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills, as tracking outgoing mail, managing delivery records, and ensuring timely and accurate distribution of certificates are key tasks. While the main focus is on certificate mailing, additional duties may be assigned on a week-to-week basis, depending on the unit's needs.Alongside mailing responsibilities, the role involves training in retrieving New Jersey vital records from various sources, including Microfilm tapes, the QS system, Veri, and the EDRS website. Familiarity with policies and procedures for handling and issuing vital records is essential, with an emphasis on confidentiality and adherence to security protocols.
