This role is responsible for maintaining the property’s overall condition, ensuring resident satisfaction, and performing a wide range of repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairComplete work orders in a timely and professional mannerConduct routine inspections of units, buildings, and common areasPrepare vacant units for new residents (turnovers/make-readies)Troubleshoot maintenance issues and implement effective solutionsMaintain property grounds, including light landscaping and exterior upkeepEnsure compliance with safety standardsRespond to emergency maintenance requests (may include on-call rotation)Qualifications3+ years of maintenance experience (apartment or residential preferred)Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairAbility to diagnose and repair issues independentlyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsGood communication and customer service skillsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50+ poundsFrequent walking, bending, climbing, and standingAbility to work outdoors in Florida heat and varying weather conditionsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay: $25–$35/hourStable, full-time positionWhy Join UsThis is an opportunity to take ownership of maintenance operations in a well-sized, 200-unit community where your skills directly impact resident satisfaction and property performance.
