BCBA Intern

*Job Overview* We are seeking a motivated and compassionate BCBA Intern to join our dynamic team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. As a BCBA Intern, you will support the implementation of evidence-based behavioral interventions, assist with client assessments, and contribute to the development of skill acquisition programs. Your role will be vital in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children and individuals with disabilities, fostering meaningful progress and positive outcomes. *Responsibilities* * Assist in conducting behavioral assessments and intake evaluations for new clients * Support the implementation of individualized ABA therapy protocols aligned with client needs * Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors, skill acquisition, and progress * Help develop and modify skill acquisition programs in accordance with best practices in ABA * Support behavior intervention plans by providing consistent reinforcement and behavior support strategies * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure clarity and collaboration * Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations * Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills *Skills* * Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) * Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), including skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention strategies * Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress and behavior patterns * Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards * Ability to work effectively with children in various settings while demonstrating patience and empathy * Experience supporting behavioral health initiatives, diagnostic evaluations, or special education environments is a plus * Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement This paid internship is designed for individuals passionate about making a difference through behavioral health services.
