Consider our Painter opportunity with our Custom Automation division in Greenfield, IN.A Painter for Bastian Solutions will be responsible for general painting of material handling equipment projects. The main emphasis for this position is producing high quality and exceptional painting of various equipment that meets the required specifications of the designated project. Other duties will include assembly and fabrication of other projects as well as general repair and maintenance of Bastian Solutions shop equipment.Job Functions:Ability to paint prep using sanding and grinding tools along with Acetone & XyleneKeep workspace in a neat and organized orderAbility to produce high quality painted parts from blueprints with low rejection rateFollow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis)Relevant painting experience highly preferredPositive attitude, able to handle tense situations that ariseUtilize hand tools to perform fabrication tasks as neededGeneral knowledge of paint guns, paint boots, and paint accessoriesAbility to work 1st shift 7 am to 4pm. (hour lunch) Monday through Friday.Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Must have completed/obtained High School diploma or GEDExperience in powder coat / 5+ years.Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. - standing, bending, pulling, pushing, and lifting are potential movement requirements for this roleBastian Solutions, a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, is an independent material handling and robotics system integrator providing automated solutions for distribution, manufacturing, and order fulfillment centers around the world.
