Transferable Skills: 1. Ability to evaluate student work and to provide constructive feedback 2. Ability to engage students in discussion of course concepts 3. Ability to prioritize student needs for a given tutor session Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Communicate with the supervising professor about current course content & assignments 2. Staff evening walk-in tutoring sessions for students in intro physics courses 3. Assist students in understanding of course concepts 4. Assist students in process of solving assigned problems Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills) Student who have completed a significant number of physics major courses preferred. Students who have completed PHYS 124 & 125 courses will also be considered. This job description is for general information purposes.
