Senior Motion Designer

Our client is looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join their team! This is a 40 hr/week, hybrid role in Austin, TX.Responsibilities:- Design and deliver motion across digital experiences, including product animations, video content, data visualizations, UI transitions, and interaction states - Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives - Partner with UX/UI designers, creatives, and developers to integrate motion into product and marketing experiences - Ensure a consistent, scalable motion language that balances brand expression, usability, and performance - Create and refine supporting static assets (e.g., illustration, compositing, light design work) as needed - Uphold and evolve brand standards across digital touchpoints - Present work, incorporate feedback, and contribute to a collaborative creative cultureRequirements:- 5+ years of experience specializing in motion design, animation, and concept-driven storytelling - A portfolio demonstrating motion work across digital products, brand, and/or interactive experiences - Expert-level proficiency in After Effects; strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop - Experience with Figma and Lottie (or similar) for product integration and developer handoff - Strong understanding of motion principles for UX (e.g., transitions, hierarchy, feedback) - Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., reduced motion) and performance optimization - Experience working closely with product teams and engineering - Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment - Clear communication skills and confidence presenting to cross-functional partnersIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
