Preferred locations: Plano, TX Detroit/Farmington Hills, MI Nashville, TN New York City, NY New Orleans, LA Ashburn, VA Tulsa, OKRole Overview: The Pre-Sales / Solutioning Architect for the Dynatrace Practice is a senior, customer-facing technical leader responsible for shaping, positioning, and technically validating Dynatrace-led solutions during the sales cycle. This role bridges sales strategy, technical architecture, and delivery feasibility, ensuring proposed solutions align with client outcomes, DXC offerings, and Dynatrace best practices.This individual partners closely with Sales, Account Teams, ServiceNow, Cloud, and Delivery leaders to design observability-driven solutions that improve performance, reliability, security, and business outcomes across complex enterprise environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales & SolutioningLead technical discovery and solution design for Dynatrace opportunities across infrastructure, applications, cloud, and digital experience monitoringTranslate customer business challenges into value-driven Dynatrace architectures (APM, Infra, DEM, Logs, Security, AIOps)Design end-to-end solutions incorporating Dynatrace + DXC services (implementation, optimization, managed services, cloud, SRE, FinOps)Support RFP/RFI responses, solution narratives, architecture diagrams, and technical sectionsDefine scope, assumptions, dependencies, and risks to ensure a clean handoff to deliverySales & Account PartnershipPartner with Account Executives and Sales Engineers to support qualified opportunitiesAct as the technical voice of credibility in customer meetings, workshops, and executive briefingsAssist in value articulation, use-case mapping, and ROI storytelling (performance, cost, reliability, risk reduction)Collaborate with Dynatrace field teams and partners as neededCross-Practice IntegrationAlign Dynatrace solutions with ServiceNow (ITOM, ITSM, AIOps), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and DXC Managed ServicesDesign solutions that support operational maturity models (SRE, AIOps, CloudOps, Digital Transformation)Identify opportunities to expand beyond tooling into ongoing services and outcomesTechnical LeadershipMaintain deep working knowledge of Dynatrace platform capabilities and roadmapStay current on observability trends, cloud architectures, and enterprise monitoring strategiesContribute to standard solution patterns, reference architectures, and reusable assets for the practiceSupport internal enablement and deal reviews as a subject-matter expertSuccess MetricsContribution to the qualified pipeline and deal win-rateQuality and accuracy of the proposed architecture and scopeSmooth transition from pre-sales to delivery with minimal re-workExpansion of Dynatrace opportunities into multi-service engagementsTrusted advisor status with sales teams and key clientsRequired Qualifications7+ years in enterprise IT, observability, performance engineering, or cloud architectureStrong hands-on experience with Dynatrace (APM, Infra, DEM, Logs, AIOps)Proven experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical consultingAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and executive audiencesExperience working in enterprise, multi-platform environments (on-prem, hybrid, cloud)Preferred QualificationsDynatrace certifications (Associate, Professional, or Master)Experience integrating Dynatrace with ServiceNow ITOM/AIOpsBackground in SRE, DevOps, CloudOps, or Managed ServicesExposure to large-scale enterprise transformations or global clients.Work EnvironmentMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship.At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
