Embedded Design Engineer
Qualifications Essential Skills and Experience:Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security ClearanceBachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in computer engineering and/or electrical engineering; Degree requirements may be waived for Candidates with direct hands-on experience with a weapon system applicationMinimum of three (3) years of experience demonstrating the ability to concept, prototype, design, code, and engineer embedded software solutionsKnowledge of C#, Java, or C++Knowledge of hardware architectures, microcontrollers and communication protocolsKnowledge of GUI developmentKnowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite, including network stack integration and socket programmingProficiency with widely used version control systems, such as GitKnowledge of tools like Jenkins, GitLabPreferred Skills and Experience:Knowledge and experience with weapon system integrationKnowledge, experience and understanding of military standards, such as MIL-STD-1553 and UAI STANAG 4586Experience with integration with GPS, sensor balls, safety interlock circuitrySCCI is committed to providing a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to meet the needs of employees and their families.
