Gas Station Attendant

Position Summary: A gas station attendant provides customer service at a full-service gas pumps and oversees gas pump management. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Promotes superior guest service. Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani. · Maintain a sharp focus on delivering excellent customer service and addressing customer concerns. · Enthusiastically greet guests. · Pump requested amount of gasoline. · Clean all self-serve gas pumps between guests. · Assist guests with momentum and discount processing. · Assist with overall station upkeep, including emptying trash bins, keeping pumps clean, replacing window cleaning fluids, cleaning fuel spills, and sweeping floors. · Comply with all laws, rules, regulations, and company policies. · Maintain site appearance standards. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: · High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD). · 1-year experience in a high-volume customer service environment. · Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. · Possess a strong understanding of basic math, basic vehicle mechanics, and knowledge of safety protocols, such as where shut-off valves are located and how to use them in case of emergency. · Must be able to understand and consistently deliver brand standards. · Must possess effective oral and written skills and be able to communicate clearly in English. · Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. · Must possess strong customer service skills with a willingness to take on multiple tasks. · Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. · Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. · Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions. · Must be able to work outdoors for an 8-hour shift. · Must be able to pass a background check. · Must be willing to work in a smoking environment. · Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures. Preferred Qualifications: · Previous casino Gas Station and Convenience Store experience preferred.
