Professional Civilian on the Battlefield
Job Purpose:
To provide operations support to the National Training Center: Mission to provide realistic joint and combined arms training focused on developing soldiers, leaders, and units of the United States Military for success on the 21st Century Battlefield. As a PROCOB, you will be embedded with military and/or security teams to provide specialized expertise and support during operations. Your role will involve applying your unique skills and knowledge to assist in mission planning, execution, and analysis in the ever challenging training environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert support and guidance in specialized area such as intelligence analysis, or other creative related fields.
Operate effectively in high-pressure and potentially hostile environments, working alongside military and/or security personnel.
Contribute to mission planning, coordination, and execution with a focus on achieving operational objectives.
Conduct thorough assessments and provide actionable recommendations to enhance mission success and safety.
maintain situational awareness and adapt to evolving field conditions and operational requirements.
Collaborate with team members and other professionals to address challenges and achieve training mission goals.
Duties and responsibilities:
Portray host nations infrastructure, Non-Government Organization, Leaders, Dignitaries, International Organizations
Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor
Operates and maintains Non-Tactical Vehicles (NTV), navigates to specified coordinates (locations) using basic navigation techniques with map/compass or precision navigation using Global Positioning System (GPS)
Performs operator maintenance on Operational vehicles
Read, write, and speak conversational Arabic, although this may vary depending on the rotational training plan
Assist appropriate NTC staff with the operation of a training environment blog, website, and other social media outlets
Create pamphlets, newspaper, and press release.
Transfer collected data to an authorized Government computer for use in training material production
Maintain Chain of Command at all times
Maintain and account for your work vehicle and personal equipment for missions used and issued under your responsibility
Ensure that quality service and levels are provided to the client’s satisfaction
Pre mission planning
Call into Range Safety before entering in and out the box
Identify, Communicate with Supervisor and confirm scenario/mission requirements
Pack water, water coolers, med kit, road kit, placards, communications equipment, maps and Directions, mission instructions, I.D’s
As Directed for any other tasks
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Secret Clearance
Possess a valid Class C, California driver’s license and maintain NTC Post driving privileges
Must be able to lift a maximum of 50Ibs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Wear Civilian on the Battlefield uniforms
Bring inclement weather gear
Bring own food to last up to 8 hrs on scheduled workdays
Always carry your Check Defense ID with you
Wear Kevlar as needed
Attend range safety brief and maintain range safety card as needed
