Sales Account Executive (NYC) - Talent Bank
Indicium AI is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Account Executive to own and grow a high-value portfolio of Financial Services accounts. This is a business outcome selling role. The AE is expected to engage business leaders -- CFOs, COOs, Chief Data Officers, and line-of-business executives -- to understand their strategic priorities and position Indicium's Data and AI services as the path from investment to impact.While the AE will maintain productive working relationships with technical counterparts at client organizations and at partner firms such as Databricks and Anthropic, the primary buyer is a business executive. The AE must translate complex data and AI capabilities into language that resonates with business leaders: faster time-to-insight, reduced operational risk, competitive differentiation, and measurable ROI.Core ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy and Execution* Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve and exceed a $4M annual bookings target* Identify and target enterprise Financial Services accounts across asset management, banking, insurance, and fintech* Engage C-suite and VP-level business executives to understand strategic priorities and present tailored Data and AI solutions* Lead the full sales process from prospecting through contract execution, with disciplined pipeline and forecast managementClient Relationship Management* Build and maintain direct, long-term relationships with business decision-makers at enterprise accounts* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are met and value is continuously demonstrated* Identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell of additional Data and AI services* Translate client business challenges into scoped services engagements, working with Indicium AI delivery leads and solution architectsPartner Engagement* Work closely with counterparts at Databricks, Anthropic, dbt Labs, and other technology partners to align on account strategy and mutual opportunities* Represent Indicium AI at partner-hosted events, field marketing activities, and industry conferences to build relationships and generate pipeline* Participate in joint account planning and business reviews with key partner field teams* Identify new partnership opportunities and escalate to the CRO and Alliance LeadSales Process and Operational Excellence* Prepare and deliver compelling executive presentations, proposals, and RFP responses* Negotiate contracts, SOWs, and pricing to close engagements that deliver mutual value* Maintain accurate, real-time opportunity records in Bitrix24 CRM with deal-level commentary* Provide weekly forecast updates to the CRO and participate in pipeline reviews using Indicium's opportunity tiering framework* Work closely with internal delivery and technical teams to ensure seamless handoff and client satisfaction post-closeMarket and Industry Knowledge* Stay current on trends in Data, AI, and cloud infrastructure as they apply to Financial Services organizations* Develop a thorough understanding of Indicium's service offerings and how they address specific business challenges faced by FS executives* Translate technical capabilities -- Databricks lakehouse, AI application development, data governance -- into clear business outcomes for non-technical buyers* Provide market feedback to internal teams based on client conversations, competitive intelligence, and industry dynamicsQualificationsRequired* 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, with meaningful time spent selling professional services, consulting, or technology services* Demonstrated track record selling to Financial Services accounts -- asset managers, hedge funds, commercial banks, insurance carriers, or fintech -- at the executive level* Proven ability to sell to business leaders: CFOs, COOs, CDOs, and line-of-business executives. Must be able to translate technical solutions into business outcomes without relying on technical jargon* Consistent quota attainment at or above $3M+ in an enterprise services selling environment* Strong experience with cloud or data transformation engagements -- cloud migration programs, analytics modernization, or enterprise AI initiatives* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or equivalent professional experience* Located in or willing to relocate to the NYC area; ability to travel to meet clients and attend industry eventsPreferred* Direct experience working alongside Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud, Anthropic, or similar technology partners in a services context* Background at a boutique data consultancy, analytics systems integrator, or cloud professional services firm* Familiarity with data engineering, lakehouse architecture, LLM or AI application deployment, or analytics modernization* Experience developing business cases and ROI frameworks for senior executive audiences* Existing executive relationships within Financial Services accounts in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, or national marketsSkills and Attributes* Business outcome seller who leads with impact, not features -- connects client priorities to measurable value* Executive presence and credibility with senior business leaders; equally effective engaging technical counterparts* Consultative and strategic approach to the sales process -- able to shape opportunities, not just respond to them* Entrepreneurial orientation with a high-accountability mindset; thrives in a scaling, founder-led environment* Disciplined pipeline manager who maintains rigorous CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting* Collaborative team player who works effectively with delivery, solution architecture, and partner teams* Clear, executive-ready communicator in writing, presentations, and in-person interactions
