Fabrication Specialist B with Security Clearance

Electrical & Avionics Technician Kennedy Space Center, FL $26.43-$37.01/Hour Abilty to Obtain a Secret Clearance Performs soldering, wire harness fabrication, avionics assembly, and electrical system installation in support of aerospace hardware and test articles in regulated manufacturing environments. Responsibilities: * Perform soldering on electronic and avionics assemblies * Fabricate, assemble, route, install, and terminate wire harnesses and electrical wiring systems * Install and troubleshoot electrical circuits and avionics components * Prepare and support test articles, fixtures, instrumentation, and data collection devices * Apply organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements * Work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to assemble complex systems Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * 1+ year of electrical, avionics, or wire harness assembly experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) * Experience with soldering electronic components and avionics products * Experience installing, routing, terminating, and troubleshooting electrical wiring and harness systems * Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings Preferred Qualifications: * Experience supporting a NASA program * Experience in a clean room manufacturing environment * Manufacturing experience supporting human spaceflight, spaceflight, or aircraft hardware programs * Experience inspecting, fabricating, repairing, and modifying electrical harnesses and associated components Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer Your Recruiter What to Expect * Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications. * Accepted applicants will be eligible for benefits, including medical and supplemental insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
