Job Title: Drayage Dispatcher Location: Kearny, NJ 07032 Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Summary: We’re looking for an experienced Drayage Dispatcher to join our team in Kearny, NJ. In this role, you’ll coordinate the pickup and delivery of ocean containers from NY/NJ ports. The ideal candidate has a strong background in dispatching drayage trucks, understands port operations, and can thrive in a time-sensitive logistics environment. Responsibilities: Dispatch drivers to and from NY/NJ ports Track trucks and containers using GPS and transportation management systems Optimize delivery schedules and routes for maximum efficiency Maintain constant communication with drivers, terminals, and customers Accurately complete data entry tasks · Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional phone etiquette Qualifications: 5+ years of experience dispatching trucks for drayage at NY/NJ ports Proficient with transportation management systems and GPS tools Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Experience with fleet management About Us: We’re a busy drayage company focused on reliable service and efficient operations.
