We're hiring a senior, hands-on Salesforce Engineer who can own solution architecture and execution-stabilizing production, strengthening governance and reliability, and modernizing our storefront and integration patterns to support growth.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Serve as a technical owner for Salesforce B2B Commerce and related platform components (data model, APIs, storefront services, and admin tooling).Design and implement scalable architecture patterns for integrations, eventing, retries/idempotency, monitoring/alerting, and audit trails.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the storefront, Salesforce APIs, integrations/middleware, and data/permission constraints; deliver durable root-cause fixes.Improve catalog and merchandising reliability: category rules, sorting/sequence controls, indexing/search behavior, and reconciliation processes.Build and harden governance around bulk product updates/imports (validations, approvals, rollback strategy, and auditability).Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Onboarding, Pricing, CX/Support, Fulfillment, Accounting) to eliminate manual work, improve visibility, and raise platform quality.Mentor engineers and admins through design reviews, code reviews, documentation, and best practices; contribute to CI/CD and release management discipline.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:7+ years of Salesforce engineering experience with demonstrated architecture ownership.Deep experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce / Commerce Cloud: catalog, pricing, promotions, categories, search, and storefront APIs/services.Strong integration engineering skills: Apex, REST/SOAP APIs, async patterns, data modeling, and troubleshooting distributed systems.Proven ability to stabilize search/indexing and category rule behavior (e.g., product discoverability, inconsistent category membership, ranking/relevancy issues).Experience with multi-system integrations (e.g., ERP such as SAP): bi-directional sync, reconciliation, traceability, and error handling.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable translating business requirements into technical designs and delivery plans.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience migrating from a headless storefront (e.g., Next.js) to Salesforce-supported storefront templates / Experience Cloud patterns.Experience with integration platforms and/or event-driven architectures.Salesforce Customer 360 experience.Performance optimization experience that preserves analytics/marketing event integrity.Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer, Application/System Architect, B2B Commerce/Commerce Cloud-related credentials).WORKING STYLE & EXPECTATIONS:Hands-on builder who can switch between architecture and execution.Bias for measurable reliability: monitoring, SLAs, incident hygiene, and prevention.Pragmatic about build-vs-buy and customization vs. Salesforce-native capabilities.Collaborative approach with clear documentation and ownership boundaries.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:Production stability improves measurably (fewer incidents, faster time-to-detect and time-to-resolve, lower defect recurrence).Catalog/search and merchandising controls become reliable and auditable for business teams.Integrations are resilient (clear contracts, idempotency, monitoring, and reconciliation) and support end-to-end Order/Customer visibility.A modernized reference architecture is in place for ongoing storefront and multi-cloud evolution.NEWAGE OFFERS:Salary and bonus is based on experience and highly competitive for the right candidate.This is an existing vacancy and the base salary range for this position, is estimated to be $102,400 to $153,600 annually (CAD) at the time of the posting.Benefits package.An opportunity within a growing, fast-paced company, well established in its industry.Fun!
