Environmental Transactions AssociateOur client, a top-tier Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a 2–4 year Environmental Associate to join its growing and highly regarded Environmental Law practice. This role is focused on the environmental transactional aspects of complex M&A, private equity, financing, capital markets, bankruptcy, and real estate matters, working closely with sophisticated corporate and deal teams.The ideal candidate will have experience performing environmental due diligence and advising on, negotiating, and drafting environmental provisions in transactional matters. Additional experience with environmental regulatory compliance, brownfield cleanups, and other remedial matters, as well as exposure to sustainability, climate change, or renewable energy issues, is strongly preferred.The practice has broad experience across environmental transactional work, client counseling, enforcement and compliance, remediation, and sustainability and climate change matters, advising clients in the chemical, industrial, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical sectors, among others.Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment are required.
