Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is actively seeking a highly skilled CEI Senior Inspector to join our team and support ongoing construction engineering and inspection efforts in the North Port, FL area. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that major transportation and infrastructure projects are delivered in accordance with FDOT standards, contract requirements, and overall project objectives.Performs highly complex technical assignments related to field surveying and construction layout, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specificationsVerifies engineering computations, inspects construction work, and conducts field testing to maintain quality and compliance standardsCoordinates, oversees, and provides guidance to junior inspectors to ensure consistent execution of inspection activitiesOperates under the general supervision of the Project Administrator while exercising independent judgment in daily responsibilitiesUtilizes experience and sound judgment to effectively plan, prioritize, and accomplish project goalsEstablishes and manages project timelines and deadlines to support overall project deliveryProvides on-the-job training and mentorship to new team members to support their development and integrationMonitors conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and applicable code requirements through detailed inspection activitiesConducts daily field inspections and maintains accurate, organized inspection records and reportsParticipates in punch list development, system testing, and commissioning activities to ensure project completion standards are metTracks and reports on quality assurance progress, identifying and addressing any deficienciesContributes to documentation for area and equipment turnover packages, ensuring completeness and accuracy for project closeoutQualificationsMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or educationU.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the workValid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
