Business Analyst for Lab in the Loop
Overview:Role Overview:Partner closely with laboratory scientists and research stakeholders to understand existing workflows, challenges, and future-state needsConduct requirement elicitation through interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughsTranslate business needs into structured documentation such as BRDs, process flows, use cases, and functional requirementsAct as a liaison between business users and IT teams including data engineering, platform, and solution architectureValidate solutions with end users to ensure alignment with scientific workflowsParticipate in governance meetings and support project executionAssist in change management and user adoption by identifying training needs Required Qualifications:8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex, data-driven or technology projectsExperience working with laboratory scientists, research teams, or lab informatics systemsBackground in biopharma, life sciences, or scientific R&D environmentsStrong ability to convert scientific/operational needs into clear business requirementsExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skillsExperience in creating formal documentation (BRDs, FRDs, use cases, etc.)Knowledge of Gene Data Capture is an added advantage
