Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and energetic Nile Cafe Manager to lead our vibrant cafe team and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This is a seasonal position(May-September) In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, cook, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, and foster a welcoming environment for all guests. Your leadership will drive the success of our casual dining establishment, blending culinary excellence with outstanding hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills in a fast-paced, food-focused setting while promoting teamwork and operational efficiency.DutiesManage daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, cooking and ensuring smooth service flowLead food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and safety complianceSupervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled teamOversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing wasteUtilize POS systems such as Square POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reportingEnsure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures across all kitchen and service areasMonitor customer service standards to deliver a warm, friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visitsCoordinate catering events or special functions when required, ensuring seamless execution from setup to cleanupManage shift schedules, resolve operational issues promptly, and optimize workflow for efficiencyMaintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe environment in compliance with health codesExperienceProven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with supervisory responsibilitiesExtensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining settingsHands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and inventory managementStrong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practicesDemonstrated ability to train staff effectively in customer service, food production, and operational proceduresExperience supervising teams in hospitality or restaurant management roles with a focus on leadership developmentFamiliarity with budgeting, cost control, and inventory management within a food service settingPrior experience in catering or banquet services is advantageous but not requiredExcellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop team members skills confidentlyAll certifications must be current Join us as a Nile Cafe Coordinator/Manager to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences.
