Eligible employees must complete all applicable enrollments within the required timeframes for coverage effective on date of hire.PurposeThe Manager of Maintenance is accountable for managing, administering, and coordinating all maintenance services required by the Plant. The incumbent is responsible for providing technical assistance and maintenance services to all phases of operation within the Plant. This position has a heavy focus on the maintenance of current equipment and requires most of the time out on the floor leading.Job ResponsibilitiesManages the maintenance programs and processes of the plant to ensure timely, effective production, and minimize downtime.Develop maintenance policies and procedures for the plant.Develop designs and specifications for facility upgrades to maintain Gränges Americas Inc. in the most advantageous position competitively in the industry.Coordinates with other management staff to ensure efficiency in preventative maintenance and new equipment installation.Direct the operations of the Maintenance Departments to ensure efficiency and quality of services within established cost forecasts.Prepare short and long-range (1 year - 5 year) plans for all areas of maintenance, prepares Maintenance Department budgets for approval of his superior.Establish and maintain a sufficient staff in size and skill to meet present and futureManages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.Work in a safe and healthy manner, adhering to all safety rules and practices.Represent the company's core values of being committed, action oriented, and sustainable.Other related duties as assigned.equivalent year of experience.10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing maintenance.Experience in managing people.Must have knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn accounting software; database software; manufacturing software;Excellent time management and organizational skillsHighly organized, detail-driven, and conscientiousThe physical requirements to perform this job the employee is regularly required to stand the majority of the day; walk on the plant floor and talk or hear.Travel as necessary
