Padua Case Worker

Goodwill Industries of Michiana is seeking a compassionate and driven PADUA Case Worker to provide client-centered case management and front-line support to individuals working to overcome poverty. Using a research-based, empowerment-focused approach, this role partners closely with clients to develop personalized service plans, coordinate community resources, and support long-term stability and self-sufficiency through consistent engagement and accountability.RoleReporting to the Padua Program Manager, the PADUA Case Worker plays a vital role in delivering holistic services that create transformational outcomes for individuals and families. Compensation$40,000 yearlyResponsibilitiesStay knowledgeable about community resources and evolving best practices related to poverty and family self-sufficiency, sharing relevant insights with team membersAssist clients by responding to questions, identifying challenges, and connecting them with appropriate internal and community-based resourcesParticipate in staff training and professional development while contributing to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and constructive communicationUtilize organizational tools and resources to address challenges while representing the organization positively within the community and maintaining strict confidentialityWork directly with clients in partnership with Case Managers to support holistic service planning, remove barriers to success, and promote sustained progress toward client goalsQualificationsClear and effective communicator in one-on-one and small group settings with clients, coworkers, and partnersCapacity to review, analyze, and interpret complex documents, policies, and guidelines, and appropriately respond to sensitive questions or concernsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with clients using empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivityAbility to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screeningDemonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and data entryAbout CompanyAt Goodwill Industries of Michiana, our mission extends beyond providing job opportunities and community support.
