Documentation Manager
Leading a team of technical writers, the full-time remote Documentation Manager will oversee the creation and maintenance of high-quality technical documentation for APIs, SDKs, and developer tools while collaborating with product and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
Manage 3-5 technical writers, supporting their growth and overseeing project plans
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop public documentation for users and developers
Research technical details through experimentation and collaboration with subject matter experts
Required qualifications
5-10 years of experience in developing documentation for technical topics such as databases and APIs
2-5 years of experience managing a team of technical writers
Publicly available technical writing samples
Proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Ruby, Python, Go)
Experience with documentation as code and familiarity with modern infrastructure and CI/CD tooling
