We are an inclusive team of unique individuals who show up each day with a grateful spirit, humble heart, and a genuine respect for one another.Position SummaryThe Woodlands Country Club is seeking attentive, responsible, and service-oriented Lifeguards to join our Aquatics team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment for members and guests. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and committed to delivering a high standard of member experience while ensuring all safety protocols are upheld.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor pool activity to ensure the safety of all members and guestsEnforce pool rules and respond quickly and effectively to emergenciesPerform water rescues and administer first aid and CPR when necessaryMaintain constant surveillance of the pool area and remain alert at all timesProvide excellent customer service by greeting members and assisting with pool-related needsConduct routine safety inspections and report hazards or incidents to managementAssist with opening and closing duties, including setting up pool areas and ensuring cleanlinessMaintain accurate records of incidents, rescues, and daily activitiesQualificationsCurrent Lifeguard Certification (e.g., Red Cross or equivalent) requiredCPR/AED and First Aid certifications requiredStrong swimming skills and physical staminaAbility to remain calm and act quickly in high-pressure situationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrior lifeguarding or aquatics experience preferred, but not requiredAvailabilityFlexible scheduling required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysWhy Join Us: At The Woodlands Country Club, you'll be part of a team that values professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional service.
