**Description****The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.****Job Summary**+ The Maintenance Installation Business Developer is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing contracts for small scale landscape construction services and installation projects. This role requires a strong balance of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and relationship management to expand the client base, increase revenue, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.**Key Responsibilities:**+ Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach+ Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for installation projects outside the Maintenance book of business.+ Develop customized proposals and sales presentations that address client needs and highlight company value+ Negotiate and close contracts in alignment with company pricing standards and profitability goals+ Build strong, long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and decision-makers+ Serve as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle and ensure a smooth transition to operations teams post-sale+ Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and drive retention+ Stay informed on local market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify new opportunities+ Represent the company at trade associations, networking events, and community engagements.+ Leverage market intelligence to position the company as a preferred partner for landscaping installation solutions+ Partner with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals and service delivery. Review large scale ($1M or greater) jobs with senior leadership (SVP)+ Work with branch and senior leadership to set annual sales goals, budgets, and strategies+ Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and results using CRM systems**Education and Experience:**+ Bachelor's degree in business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)+ 3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, facility management or related service industries+ Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, horticulture, and project management fundamentals+ Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills+ Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently+ Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting**Physical Demands/Requirements:**+ Regular local travel to client sites, industry events, and networking opportunities+ Office-based activities including proposal development, client follow-up, and team collaboration+ Ability to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling+ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record**Work Environment:**+ Works in an indoor office and outdoors during construction site walks or project evaluations+ Requires occasional evening and/or weekend networking events or meetings**_BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer._****_This job description is subject to change at any time._****_BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
