We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead growth initiatives, strengthen customer partnerships, and expand our market presence. This remote-based position offers home-office flexibility with regular travel to customers, trade shows, and occasional visits to headquarters. You will strike a balance between hunting for new business and nurturing our long-standing partnerships. You are not just selling a product; you are providing ingredient solutions to some of the biggest names in the food industry.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development: Proactively identify and land new accounts to build a robust sales pipelineAccount Management: Manage and grow existing customer relationships, collaborating closely with our Cochrane-based Customer Service team to ensure seamless order fulfillmentPricing Strategy: Work closely with the Cochrane-based team on contract pricing management, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive in the B2B Oat Ingredients MarketMarketing & Budgeting: Lead marketing budget, collaborating with the Cochrane-based team on website design and advertising campaigns and selection and management of industry trade showsMarket Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to inform our sales approachQualifications & RequirementsExperience: A minimum of 3 years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably in food ingredients, milling, or other agricultural processing. Experience with commodity-based pricing models and the ability to navigate market volatility to protect company margins while providing customer stabilityEducation: Bachelor’s degree in business, Agribusiness, Marketing or a closely related field is preferredTravel: Ability and willingness to travel 30–40% for client visits, trade shows, and occasional trips to our headquarters in Cochrane, WIStrategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to manage complex contract negotiations and marketing budgetsCommunication: Strong communication, negotiation, and self-management skillsSelf-Starter: The discipline to manage a remote schedule and hit targets without daily handholdingPaid Travel & Mileage ReimbursementThis position includes paid travel time for business-related travel, along with mileage reimbursement for authorized use of a personal vehicle at the current IRS mileage rate. Travel may include customer visits, business development meetings, networking events, community involvement, training, and other sales and marketing activities.
