We operate a paid social-driven affiliate business, where we run ads (primarily Meta) to promote third-party products on Fortune 50 retailers and earn commissions on resulting purchases.We are looking for a highly analytical operator to:Reconcile ad spend vs affiliate revenueImprove traffic monetization efficiencyBuild scalable systems for tracking, payouts, and optimizationThis role sits at the intersection of performance marketing, analytics, and financial operations.We are a small, highly profitable company looking to scale and this role will directly impact profit.Responsibilities1. Spend vs Revenue Reconciliation (Core Responsibility)Track and reconcile:Meta + other platform ad spendOutbound click dataAffiliate revenue across major retailersAccount for:Attribution gapsReporting delaysPlatform discrepanciesReturns / clawbacksBuild:A daily “true performance” model (not platform-reported)Reports for payouts2. Performance OptimizationGo beyond surface-level metrics to analyze:EPC (earnings per click) vs CPC (cost per click)Seasonality trendsRevenue vs profit contributionCreative performance decay (fatigue)Characteristics of winning products and creativesWork with operators to:Scale profitable campaignsCut underperformers quicklyImprove overall efficiency of spend3. Analytics & AttributionBuild systems to estimate:True MER / blended ROAS under incomplete attributionBlend data from:Meta and other ad platformsAffiliate reporting platformsInternal tracking systemsIdentify and quantify:Data gapsRevenue lagAttribution bias4. Process & System BuildingCreate repeatable workflows for:Campaign evaluationProduct testingScaling decisionsBuild SOPs to replicate across:Multiple accountsMultiple operatorsTurn:Manual analysisInto structured, repeatable systems5. Payouts & Financial OpsCalculate:Revenue share payoutsPartner commissionsEnsure accuracy between:Reported revenueActual payoutsBuild:Automated payout systems where possibleMaintain:Clean financial logic tied to profit (not just revenue)Key Metrics You Will OwnTrack:EPC (Earnings Per Click)CPC (Cost Per Click)Profit per click (EPC – CPC)MER (blended ROAS)Daily / weekly profitRequirements2–6 years experience in:Performance marketing analyticsAffiliate marketing, paid social, or growth rolesAdvanced proficiency in:Google Sheets / Excel (required)Deep understanding of:Meta Ads (auction dynamics, creative testing)Click-based monetization modelsExperience working with:Imperfect, delayed, or incomplete attributionStrong financial mindset:Ability to think in profit, not just performance metricsStrongly PreferredExperience with:Fortune 50 or similar affiliate ecosystemsExperience optimizing for:EPC and click arbitrage modelsFamiliarity with:Tools that accelerate system-building (no-code / dashboards / connectors)Bonus:SQL or data visualization experienceHow We Evaluate PerformanceSuccess in this role is measured by:Improving profitability of ad spendIncreasing EPC relative to CPCBuilding systems that reduce decision-making timeIdentifying opportunities others missCompensation: $90k-$140k + Performance BonusCompensation includes performance-based upside tied directly to profit improvement.Open to contractor or part-time candidates ($60–$120/hr depending on experience)Screening Question:If revenue is delayed and attribution is incomplete, how would you estimate the true performance of a campaign on a daily basis?
