Applicants can expect a collaborative work environment with opportunities to learn and grow within the hospitality field.Role Description This is a part-time with potential to be full time based on the candidate, on-site Line Cook role located in Richmond, VA. The Line Cook will prepare and cook menu items according to club recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and portion control for à la carte and event service. Daily responsibilities include setting up and breaking down stations, prepping ingredients, following food safety and sanitation procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Line Cook will coordinate timing with other kitchen team members, assist with inventory and storage, and support special events, banquets, and high-volume service as needed. This role works closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen leadership to uphold service standards and provide a positive dining experience for members and guests.QualificationsStrong culinary skills in basic cooking techniques, knife handling, food preparation, and plating.Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food storage and labeling practices.Experience working on a line in a restaurant, club, hotel, or similar high-volume kitchen environment.Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately while maintaining consistency and quality.Effective teamwork, communication, and time-management skills in a fast-paced setting.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by club operations.High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training or certification is a plus.Physical ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry kitchen supplies as needed.
