Electrical Apprentice

Overview We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Electrician Apprentices. This role is essential for supporting various tasks across our operation, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Duties An Apprentice Electrician assists licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while learning the trade through supervised on-the-job training. Assist with the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and lighting systems. Measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit). Pull, route, and terminate electrical cables and wiring. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and specifications. Help troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems. Install electrical panels, breakers, transformers, and other components under supervision. Test electrical circuits and equipment using meters and testing devices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment. Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and company safety procedures. Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively. Dig trenches, drill holes, and perform other physical labor as needed for installations. Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding project progress Operate basic hand tools and equipment as needed for various electrical tasks. Collaborate with team members and Journeymen Electricians to complete projects on time and according to specifications. Perform physical labor such as lifting, digging, and moving materials as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the day. Qualifications Previous experience in electrical industrial construction-related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety practices.
