⭐_The Role_
The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing C&O Services’ construction and renovation projects from initial assignment through final completion. This position coordinates field crews, subcontractors, materials, schedules, budgets, and client requirements to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to C&O’s quality standards.
*Core Role Responsibilities:*
* Manage multiple residential renovation/construction projects simultaneously.
* Review scopes of work, estimates, drawings, specifications, photos, and client requirements before work begins.
* Develop project schedules and establish priorities for field crews and subcontractors.
* Work up bids that are to C&O standards
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, cleanliness, and adherence to scope.
* Identify project issues early and develop solutions to prevent delays or unnecessary costs.
* Verify that completed work meets C&O standards and client requirements before project closeout.
* Coordinate material orders and deliveries and ensure materials are available when crews need them.
* Review subcontractor proposals and invoices for accuracy and confirm work has been satisfactorily completed before approval.
* Communicate project status, delays, additional work, and other significant issues to company leadership.
* Maintain clear communication with clients/property representatives throughout the project.
* Document project progress through photos, notes, completion reports, and other required documentation.
* Manage punch-list items and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly.
* Assist with estimating, pricing, scopes, and change orders when necessary.
* Hold field employees and subcontractors accountable for attendance, productivity, workmanship, and professionalism.
* Help develop and improve field procedures, quality-control standards, scheduling practices, and subcontractor performance.
* Respond to urgent field issues and make day-to-day operational decisions to keep projects moving.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
