The organization is a pioneer in value-based care, combining deep clinical expertise and data-driven solutions to deliver better outcomes across the healthcare and workers’ compensation markets.Job Title - IT Application Development ManagerLocation - Remote in the U.S.Role Type - Direct HireMust Have Skills:Very strong Salesforce experience, including Salesforce Service Cloud and customer service applicationsExperience supporting and enhancing applications used for customer/client issue management, resolution, and trackingBusiness-first mindset with the ability to deeply understand business processes, translate needs into application functionality, and drive a configuration-first approachStrong people leadership and self-directed delivery experience, including building, hiring, mentoring, and developing an application team from the ground upPrior experience managing true application development teams while remaining hands-on and close to the workResponsibilities and Job Details:Lead a newly formed application development function supporting our client’s go-to-market and client-facing technology environmentAssume ownership and drive the continued development of a Salesforce-based application used for client issue tracking and resolutionMature and expand the client issue management platform for broader use across the organizationServe as a working manager who can provide strategic leadership while remaining closely involved in application deliveryBuild out and develop a new team that is expected to include Business Analysts, QA, and configuration/development resourcesPartner closely with business stakeholders to understand processes and translate business requirements into effective application solutionsChampion a configuration-first development philosophy, utilizing custom development only when necessaryManage priorities and deliverables independently, proactively escalating risks and issues when appropriateLead ongoing enhancements and integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem, including opportunities to leverage emerging Salesforce capabilitiesOversee Microsoft Dynamics support within the team’s broader application portfolio, with Salesforce representing the primary platformFoster a culture of accountability, transparency, proactive communication, and strong partnership with business stakeholdersTravel occasionally as business needs require, generally no more than a few short trips per year
