Lead Test & Launch Operations Engineer – Avionics

Overview In this role you lead avionics testing, launch operations, and mission readiness for Electron and Neutron vehicles at Wallops Island. You will supervise engineers, develop CONOPS, and drive improvements across avionics integration, ground networks, and HMIs. You ensure operational readiness through reviews, simulations, and real-time problem solving during launches. The position offers leadership impact in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with substantial exposure to high-reliability aerospace systems. You help shape scalable, safe, and efficient launch operations that support Rocket Lab’s broader space missions.
