Bartender

Position Summary: • Bartenders are assigned to work primarily in designated “Primary bar venue(s)” and can also be scheduled to support the beverage operation in “Assistance bar venue(s)”. • Bartenders actively engage with guests and crew to suggest, prepare and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in their assigned venue by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Hiring Requirements: • Minimum 4-5 years beverage-related experience (shipboard experience preferred) or equivalent. • Completion of high school or equivalent education required. • Ability to analyze and interpret recipes and manuals. • Proficiency in calculating figures, proportions, and percentages. • Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various instructions • Working knowledge of inventory control methods and standards. Language Requirements: • Ability to speak and read English - analyze and interpret procedure manuals and memos, technical procedures or governmental regulations. • Good knowledge of the following languages is required: German, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, Russian, Greek, Dutch, Polish.
