Power BI Developer

Title: Senior Power BI Developer Location: Cragwood / South Plainfield, NJ (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)Durations 2 + monthsNote: Must be on our W2RequirementsMust have 5+ years of experience using Power BIExperienced/Expert at data visualization and advance calculations (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table) using Power BIExpert knowledge connecting Microsoft Power BI to various data sources.Expert creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc.Experience in Custom Visuals and Groups usage.Experienced in creating DAX expressions.Exposure to setting up and configuring Power BI related Gateways and related data connections.SQL and database query skills are required as the applications leverage local and shared databases and data warehousesKnowledge on SQL Server 2012 or advanced versions.Excellent customer relations skills and strong communication skills to make clear, accurate and concise oral and written reports.Ability to work collaboratively with others and to provide excellent customer service, as well as work independently.Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively convey information to various levels in the organization.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.ResponsibilitiesGather reporting and dashboard visualization requirements.Work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and expectations.Creating interactive dashboards that present key insights to stakeholders.Work closely with business stakeholders to enhance data quality and resolve data integration issues.Build effective and visually pleasing dashboards/ reports to represent the story to answer those business questions with the help of data.Apply best practices through the development lifecycle.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, design meaningful visualizations, and drive informed decisions.Create and develop Power BI visuals and data models as required.Develop logical data models for the databases.Train end-users on effectively utilizing Power BI tools to meet their specific needs, fostering a data-driven culture.
