Emerald Nursing & Rehab Brookside - Job TitleHousekeepingLocation:  Lincoln, NEDepartment: Housekeeping Reports to: Housekeeping/Laundry SupervisorPosition Type: Full TimeShifts Available: 7a-330p with every other weekendDescriptionThe Housekeeping and Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and laundering linens and personal clothing in accordance with facility standards, infection control policies, and safety regulations. Housekeeping Responsibilities:Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas according to schedule and procedures.Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces as assigned.Follow proper infection control and isolation cleaning procedures.Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning solutions as directed.Report needed repairs or maintenance issues to supervisor.Maintain housekeeping cart and storage areas in a clean, organized manner.Provide respectful and courteous service to residents and staffQualificationAbility to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds.Strong attention to detail and time management skills.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Benefits: Medical Dental Vision 401K PTO Plan
