Here are the job position details for your review: Job Title: Commissioning Technician Pay Rate: $30 to $33/HR Duration: 6 months Location: Gresham, OR This position is for the Mobility division. We are looking for a Commissioning Technician The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing the next-generation electric Light Rail Vehicle that is delivered from the OEM to the local authority. The technician will need to be experienced with PLCs, and routers. Additionally, familiar with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical and mechanical repairs of various components using mechanical drawings, schematics, and location circuit plans Diagnose electrical malfunctions in LRV control circuits and components, assess the nature of problems, and identify corrective action needed. Work with shop machines and hand tools. Understand and follow company and industry safety rules, practices, and procedures. Communicate with others, verbally and in writing, technical information, job procedure recommendations, and other work-related information. Assist other employees as needed. Read, interpret, and understand written or electronic information, maintain the information, and compile reports Use PTUs (laptops) to troubleshoot various systems onboard the LRVs. Executes predefined commissioning steps for components and systems. Documents the test steps performed. Experience & Education: 4+ years of specialized experience in Railcar & relevant Mobility division, or specialized qualification needed. Minimum High school diploma (or GED), College Degree preferred. Must be proficient in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting. Working with PLCs and routers to connect industrial devices Knowledge: Have a good grasp of knowledge and principles in the related field of work, based on vocational training and practical experience, which enables incumbents to operate in moderately complex workflow environments, often working with specialized equipment and machines All PPE will be provided except safety shoes (candidate needs to bring their safety shoes) Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Please provide Email address.
