This role is hands-on and fast-paced, working closely with the warehouse team, drivers, and office staff to make sure shipments are planned, loaded, and delivered the right way.If you’ve worked shipping, scheduling loads, or handling freight and aren’t afraid to solve problems as they come up, this could be a great fit.What You’ll DoSchedule and oversee outbound shipments and daily truck loadsBuild daily shipping plans, set priorities, and keep freight moving on timeCoordinate large or special shipments to meet customer and order needsTrack shipments and fix issues when delays or problems come upKeep accurate shipping records, logs, and schedulesDocument customer issues and resolutionsCommunicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and internal teams throughout the dayHelp with training records and basic reportingFollow all safety and quality standardsHandle other tasks or projects as needed to support operationsWhat We’re Looking ForAt least 2 years of shipping experience in a warehouse or distribution environmentExperience scheduling loads, working with carriers, or coordinating freightClear communication — can give direction and explain issuesComfortable handling problems with employees or customersStrong computer skills (Microsoft Office 365)Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressureBilingual English/Spanish is a plusExperience in high-volume shipping environmentsWilling to work flexible hours when neededSafety-minded and quality-focused every dayWhy Work at DexterStable, weekday positionHands-on role supporting real operationsSupportive team environment with clear expectationsWe care for our people.
