Trident Consulting is seeking a "Shift Operations Lead" for one of our clients in "New York, Austin, TX & Sunnyvale, CA " A global leader in business and technology services.Job Title: Shift Operations LeadLocation: New York, Austin, TX & Sunnyvale, CAPay Rate: $30-35/hr. on W2Duration: 3+ Months (Extension Possible)About the RoleThe client is hiring an OSS Shift Lead to support live, day-to-day field operations in New York City / Austin, TX / Sunnyvale, CAThis person will act as the real-time shift coordinator, making sure onsite staff are fully deployed, coverage gaps are handled quickly, and live operational issues are resolved with minimal disruption.This is a fast-paced, highly visible role ideal for candidates who are comfortable making quick decisions, managing multiple moving parts, and supporting field teams during active shifts.What You’ll Be DoingCoordinate staffing coverage across active shiftsMonitor attendance, lateness, and no-shows, and take immediate action when neededBackfill shift gaps in real time through reassignment or escalationTroubleshoot live shift issues such as late arrivals, setup problems, or onsite confusionServe as the primary point of contact for onsite staff during the shiftCommunicate clearly with internal teams including Operations, Support, and Launch teamsWhat They’re Looking For1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, hospitality, dispatch, scheduling, or other fast-paced environmentsStrong ability to make decisions quickly and solve problems in real timeExcellent communication skills and strong sense of urgencyComfortable handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities at onceReliable, responsive, and organizedNice to HaveExperience with dispatch, shift scheduling, or gig workforce managementExposure to last-mile logistics, marketplace operations, or on-demand delivery environmentsAbout Trident ConsultingTrident Consulting is an award-winning staffing and consulting firm headquartered in San Ramon, CA.
